Cashew Splits and Pieces

Ingredient-grade cashew formats

Buyer answer

Le Duong Cashew separates White Splits by the whole-kernel size from which the halves are produced. WS Jumbo means halves from WW160–WW180; WS means halves from WW210–WW320. LP, SP and finer formats remain available for applications that require broken pieces rather than a recognisable half-kernel shape.

This distinction helps buyers control visible inclusion size and recipe presentation. WS Jumbo provides larger halves, while WS provides regular commercial halves. Final colour, moisture, defect tolerance, piece distribution, packing and acceptance method remain subject to the buyer-approved specification.

Best-fit applications

WS Jumbo for large visible halves

Halves produced from WW160–WW180 for premium toppings, confectionery, snack mixes and products where a larger split is visually important.

WS for regular commercial halves

Halves produced from WW210–WW320 for bakery, roasting, seasoning, mixes and ingredient programmes requiring a recognisable split.

LP, SP and finer processing

Large Pieces, Small Pieces and finer formats support biscuits, chocolate, fillings, coatings, sauces, cashew butter and industrial food production.
